Safety & Ethics

To protect our community and honor GGM Jon Loren’s legacy, all affiliated schools must be chartered by the International Tum Pai Association™ to ensure they meet our high standards for curriculum and safety. We prioritize a secure environment for all practitioners by requiring comprehensive annual background checks for every member. 

Our zero-tolerance policy ensures that anyone with a history of violent crime, offenses involving minors, or moral turpitude is excluded from teaching or volunteering, as we believe only authorized, vetted schools can provide the safe and authentic experience our students deserve.

Beyond these safety measures, we take great pride in the caliber of our leadership. All of our instructors have undergone extensive, specialized training. This ensures they are fully equipped with the technical skill and pedagogical expertise necessary to provide the highest quality instruction to every student who walks through our doors.

If a martial arts school claims to be "Tum Pai" but cannot produce a current Charter from the International Tum Pai Association™, they are not part of our vetted lineage.

 We encourage you to ask any prospective school:

• Are your instructors background-checked?
• Can you provide a certificate of affiliation with the International Tum Pai Association™?
• Who is your direct lineage head?

 We recommend using the "Parent’s Guide to Safety" to evaluate any school you consider. If a program cannot meet every standard—particularly regarding background checks and an open-door policy—it may not be the safest environment for your child.
